The Wonder are a Franco-Australian indie rock band based in Paris composed of Matt Davis on guitar and vocals, Alexandre Gontard on bass, Laurent Baron on drums, Nico Defeudis on guitar and Milan Zuidema on keys and backing vocals.
The band released their debut EP ‘Pilot’ in 2015 and their debut album ‘Love’ in May 2019. Recorded and mixed by Nick Huggins (Dirty Three, Jen Cloher) and released by Ditto France, ‘Love’ has received universal praise. Magic RPM in France called it “beautifully captivating”.
The Wonder have played shows in Paris, Europe and Australia with bands like Spiral Stairs, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Mild Orange and Youth Group.
The band will be returning to the stage supporting Pavement on their Paris show at Le Grand Rex on October 27, 2022.
